2025 Standards for RTOs
Since 1 July 2025 ASQA regulates against the Outcome Standards and Compliance Requirements, so the site is planned around what must be published.
National VET Data Policy
The policy's mandated privacy notice and the standard AVETMISS enrolment questions shape how any enrolment or enquiry form on the site is built.
Unique Student Identifier
The Student Identifiers Act 2014 limits how a USI is collected, stored and disclosed, so it does not belong in a website enquiry form.
What RTOs need from a website

Course pages that stay compliant
Every advertised training product needs your RTO code and the exact code and title as published on the national register, and the nationally recognised training logo belongs only with products on your scope. Non-accredited short courses have to stay visibly separate from nationally recognised training, which is hard to hold together once you have dozens of course pages.

Superseded qualifications age your content
When a training product is superseded you have a limited transition window, and every page, menu item, downloadable PDF and paid ad still carrying the old code has to change. On most sites that becomes a manual hunt rather than one update.

Information students can actually use
VET students include people returning to study after years away, people with limited English and people reading on a phone between shifts, so fees, entry requirements, support and appeals information has to be plain and reachable by screen reader. Burying it in a downloadable handbook satisfies nobody.

Structured course catalogue
Each qualification, skill set and short course is stored in WordPress as a structured record — national register code and title, delivery modes, locations, intakes and fees in their own fields — so every listing, filter and course page reads from one source.
National register checks
A plugin we build in-house for your site, comparing your training products against the training.gov.au web service and flagging anything superseded, retitled or no longer on your scope.
Course-level enquiry forms
Enquiry forms attached to each course that capture the training product, intake, delivery mode and whether the person is enquiring for themselves or for staff, then route to the right team rather than a shared inbox.
Employer and traineeship enquiries
A separate path for employers arranging apprenticeships, traineeships or workforce training, with its own contact details and follow-up so it does not compete with individual student enquiries.
Fees, policies and student information
Editable pages for fee schedules, refunds, complaints and appeals, USI and student support, plus the census days and education agent lists that VET Student Loans and CRICOS providers have to publish.
Care after go-live
Australian hosting, updates, backups, monitoring, security patching and the small content changes that follow a scope change or a new training package release.
Common questions
Can you make our website ASQA compliant?
We can build the structure that makes compliance maintainable: your RTO code and each training product code and title held in fields rather than retyped, the nationally recognised training logo tied to products on your scope, and non-accredited courses kept visibly separate. What we cannot do is sign off your marketing, because the wording, the claims and the evidence behind them sit with your compliance manager. We build to the requirements you give us, and we make them quick to change when your reading of them changes.
What happens to our site when a qualification is superseded?
Because course records are structured, the replacement code and title are entered once and every listing, menu, filter and page follows, and the old URL can be redirected to the new course. We can also build a check against the training.gov.au web service that flags training products on your site that have been superseded or removed from your scope. Deciding what to teach out, and when, stays with you.
Can the website connect to our student management system?
If your student management system has an API or accepts a structured feed, we build the connection in-house as a custom plugin rather than bolting on a third-party form service. Where there is no API, we set up a structured export or notification so enquiries still arrive in a usable shape instead of loose email. We check what your system actually supports before anyone commits to an approach.
